CPES Paris-Saclay
Data Science, Society and Health
A multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary 3-year degree built in partnership between ENS Paris-Saclay, Université Paris-Saclay, Institut Polytechnique de Paris, HEC Paris and the Lycée International de Palaiseau Paris-Saclay. The CPES trains students with interdisciplinary profiles mastering data science and AI (mathematics, computer science) while applying them to health or society depending on their chosen track.
Two specialization tracks from year one
The CPES aims to provide students with solid proficiency in data science and artificial intelligence, grounded in mathematics and computer science, together with the ability to understand their implications in two fields of application of their choice.
Health
Application of data science in the field of health: genomics, epidemiology, bioinformatics and ethical implications of biomedical data.
Society
Application of data science in economics and sociology: social stratification, public policy and the humanities.

What our students say
The CPES let me discover research much earlier than any other programme. The courses are demanding, but the environment is truly stimulating.
What I appreciate most is the coherence across disciplines. Mathematics, computer science and the humanities genuinely speak to each other — that is rare in a bachelor's degree.
In two years, I have had courses at ENS, Télécom Paris and HEC. Few bachelor's programmes offer that diversity of environments, and it genuinely changes how you approach a problem.
