Career opportunities

Upon completing the 3-year programme, students validate 180 ECTS credits and are awarded a degree issued by Université Paris-Saclay on behalf of all partner institutions, conferring the bachelor’s degree grade (Decree no. 2023-937 of 10 October 2023 granting bachelor’s degree status to holders of certain diplomas). This grade is recognized for entry into master’s programmes and for international mobility.

Graduates may continue their higher education in university master’s programmes — in particular those of Paris-Saclay — or in grandes écoles programmes, especially those offered by the partner institutions with specific pathways adapted to CPES profiles. They may also pursue master’s programmes at foreign universities applying data science across a wide range of fields, or enter grandes écoles (engineering schools, écoles normales supérieures) through the university pathway, according to each institution’s own admission process.

Outcomes for CPES Paris-Saclay graduates

The first cohort of CPES Paris-Saclay will receive their degree in 2026. Data on graduate outcomes will be published from that date. In the meantime, CPES Paris-Saclay students are prepared for a wide diversity of post-bachelor pathways thanks to the interdisciplinary nature of the programme and the academic excellence of the partner institutions. They are oriented towards selective master’s programmes in France and internationally, as well as programmes at leading engineering and business schools.
